Nowadays

I am trying to go back to my old exercise routine but it's too hard when I teach 8 hours every single day.
I have started with a fitness class today, hopefully I'll go to zumba tomorrow, wednesday rest, thursday is the busiest day at work so I dont think I can do anything after the lessons but maybe I need to squeeze something in for Thursday after work because I know I won't be doing anything on Friday evening. I can see myself in front of TV with a big bowl of popcorn watching a dvd.

My very good friend Diana's birthday is coming soon, I'm responsible from the invitations/souvenirs. I'm making her a birthday party invitation which also should look like a souvenir of her 30th birthday. It's hard job, believe me. I'm still trying to come up with the design. I'm thinking of using small boxes, and covering them with felt and beads, ribbons, etc. but still it's not very clear in my mind. I'll post what I've made here when I'm finished.
And Aylin's back in Cambridge from her break, the only Turkish friend I have here. It always feels nice to have her beside me whenever I need.

 

Now it's time for dinner, need to go.

Guatemalan worry people

And the new academic year begins

Second week of the academic year finished, still 34 weeks to go. The school is busier than ever, feels like it's even busier than summer school in terms of our timetables. Diana, Nina and I started off the new term with our little party at Nina's place, in her beautiful garden. It kept us going for a week without getting depressed but now we're in need of a second one, urgently, we need something to look forward to :)

Frinton on Sea

And these are from last Sunday when the weather was even warmer than the week before.
We should have discovered Frinton on Sea years ago, 5 years too late :)
The seaside was amazing, the beach stretches for miles and it is so clean you can see the sand at the bottom.

One fine day in Cambridge

This pic is from two weeks ago when the weather was unusually warm and sunny for the whole week. We went for a ride along the river first, then went to the Orchard in Grantchester. It was such a relaxing day.
